7 day plains game hunt with Gary Phillips Hunting Safaris in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Amazing trip. Hunted geese a couple of days. Huge thanks to Gary and Lee Phillips and to Rory and Mel Gailey for making it happen.
Muchas gracias ha Gary y a todo el personal por hacer possible esta experiencia que pude compartir con mi nieto en su primer safari en Africa y por hacer possible mi primer animal de los 5 grandes. Gracias por todo y hasta pronto. Justo Pino Torres.
This was my first trip to Africa. Gary was an outstanding guide and worked hard at getting some great trophies. This will certainly not be my last.
I would like to thank Gary for a great hunt. Hunting Kudu has been something I have always wanted to do and Gary sure knew where to find the big bulls. Accommodation, food and staff were first class. Thanks again.
My husband and I along with my daughter and her two children recently spent two weeks at Gary’s lodge. The accommodations and food and drink and staff were superb, and we took full advantage of many of the activities offered including great game drives nearly every day, a round of golf, a couple of shopping trips, a trip to Addo Elephant Park, and of course elephant-riding. My grandson even tried his hand at hunting for the first time, getting a springbok and missing a warthog. It could not have been a more satisfying experience, and we will definitely book another stay at the lodge in the future.
Awesome Experience. Got once in a lifetime chance at Lynx and Bushpig, trophy animals everywhere. Got to spot at night for springhare with a .22 which was fun. Staff put in a lot of time and effort to make the bushpig happen. Wonderful accommodation, we never waited for anything. Gary did a great job and was very patient. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon. Thanks for everything. we will be back.
Gracias por ser parte de mi primer safari en Africa y el poderlo compartir con mi major amigo Adres lo hizo muy especial, gracias por todo y nos veremos mas pronto que tarde.
My two safaris with Gary have been nothing but the best. Thanks Gary and Mbulelo for getting me on some truly awesome trophies. I will cherish them forever. See you on my next hunt. Until then watch out for those curves. “Whoooowe’.”
This was our third hunt back with Gary. The sable was the highlight of our trip! Having the opportunity to hunt a lechwe was completely unexpected and very enjoyable. Looking forward to our return.
